She Stares Out Her Window. Dreaming.

She dreams of walking out of work and driving to the beach. Not to swim but to sit just outside the tide and listen. Listen to the water hitting the sand, the birds flying in low hoping for a snack, the crabs going in and out of the water doing whatever it is they do.

She dreams of flying to a foreign land and experiencing the rich culture that surrounds it. Trying the foods, hoping they don't make her sick. Listening to the sounds of the streets, the music, and the people. Where are they from? What is their story? Do they care about hers?

She dreams of climbing a mountain and standing on the top. Alone and able to take in the view of all that she stands above. The feeling of accomplishment surrounding her with a warm glow.

She dreams of getting in a boat and sailing out to sea. To venture into the waves and see the animals she has only seen in cages or aquariums. To experience their world and get lost in it.

She dreams of living the dream and getting lost in the world you only have one life to experience.
